Littlewoods is part of the UK’s No1 home shopping group, Shop Direct. Though the big catalogues that they are synonymous with are still out there, the focus now is to drive customers online.
 
To this end customer paper contact strategies between big books, have been rationalised and re-focussed to deliver a far more customer friendly brand story, that informs of all service and product areas and directs straight to the online store.
 
To facilitate this change in tactic, a seasonally relevant, selling magazine format was piloted and tested through 2011/2012 seasons. Initially we were commissioned to contribute to the overall strategy, name and design of the publication pre-test roll-out.
 
Since successful roll-out, we have been commissioned to produce 7 issues of ‘new things’, handling all pre-print aspects – Product Plan (part), Page Plan, Design, Editorial, Art Direction and Artwork Production.
